Padua Playwrights presents an Arts Common event at MorYork Gallery in Highland Park, involving a live and recorded presentation of the avant-garde theatre piece Jack Benny amid the Clare Graham’s unique creative environment. Audience members will interact directly with the performers to explore the nature of vanguard aesthetic and how it fits the politics of 2017 in Los Angeles. This will NOT BE a simple question and answer but an avant-garde charette, where audience members from the surrounding community help us craft the ongoing trajectory of the Jack Benny project, their words incorporated directly into future iterations of the performance.
Come and be counted! Lend your voice to the Jack Benny project! Join us for a unique arts common event on Friday, April 27th at MorYork Gallery at 8 PM to celebrate and advance the arts community of Los Angeles.
